Urge Ltd is a coffee and tea speciality shop and espresso bar in Garden Place, Hamilton. This business has been running for over 60 years, and has been trading as Urge since December 2001.

Urge has 32 different coffee blends and roasts which can be sold as beans or ground coffee. Because of our large customer base, we also make up recipes to suit the individual.

Urge coffee is roasted by the second largest roaster in New Zealand. Only the finest AA graded beans are used to ensure quality and continuity of the coffee. We also have blends designed specifically for the hospitality market.

Our large selection of teas which range from the traditional Twinings black, to the exotic fruit infusion flavours, are available either in loose leaf or bagged form, or in kilogram cafe lots.

We provide a full service to the hospitality sector, including coffee and tea hardware and domestic or commercial machines.

For those businesses that buy Urge coffee, we provide annual training on their machine so that their baristas are always professionally trained and kept up to date with the latest techniques.

Urge is proud to specialise in Dunoon English Bone China. We have the largest range in Hamilton, getting shipments from England twice a year. The tea cups, mugs, breakfast cups, demitasse cups and storage jars are surpassed by none.

We have a mail order service available throughout New Zealand, so fresh coffee is just a day away.
